Todays Meeting is all about finishing our Get Moving Journey. After having the Wyo Weatherization Guys help us do a building Audit on Mansface Church, we came up with a list of items to help the building. The three main items we chose to help with where: Fire/Smoke Detectors, Carbon monoxide Detectors and signs for the fire extinguishers. A few Boy Scouts are helping us out with the installation of these items. Mansface Council approved our assistance with the building and will be on site today for our meeting. We are also welcoming the Brownie troop today, they are sending us three new girls at our Bridging Ceremony.

We were still waiting to hear from some parents about early registrations.  Please let us know if you do not want your daughter re-registered for next year. Our troop will take care of all who want to continue in Girl Scouting next year.
Senior Citizens Banquet
Held at the Green River Eagles, June 5th from 4pm to 6:30pm.
They have asked us Wonderful juniors to help serve, clear and clean for this event. The Eagles will be making a donation to our Green River Girls Scouts for helping with this event. We are asking for all who can attend to please help!

Thanks to all who came and survived our Freezing Arbor Day Celebration!
Looking forward to warmer memories next year!

We confirmed with the Shelter that we can drop those donated kits off and get a tour tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday 6th) at 4pm to 5pm. All who can make it please join us at the front of the Animal Control Shelter here in Green River at 80 E Teton.  Please be in uniform to represent the troop appropriately.

Early registration for Girls who will be doing Scouting in the 2015-1016 year is just starting and we would love to get these girls registered again for next year.  Please let Jill or Megan know if you are NOT planning to be apart of Girl Scouts next year as we will be Re-Registering the girls who would like to still be involved this next week.

You all did a wonderful Job with Cookie Booth Sales! We do have some cookies left, so if anyone is still interested in cookies please let us know as a troop we have lots of Samoas. At the Arbor Day celebration this Saturday, may 9th, there will be a cookie booth set up by multiple troop leaders as we try to sell our last odd boxes. Please let people know we will be there starting at 9am if they would like some cookies or to donate to our local troops!

Arbor Day is Saturday May 9th at Centennial Park.
Girl Scouts as a Service Unit is once again supporting Green Rivers Arbor Day by helping purchase $300.00 worth of tress. If you can please come on down and help us plant those trees at the Arbor Day celebration. Please wear your uniform if you are going to be attending. They host a raffle and other great events all morning. The raffle is before the little ceremony so come 15-20 minutes early to enter. We love helping with Arbor Day, it is a great way to help our wonderful City!
This is just one more way to grow girls of courage, confidence and character!
