Our meetings from here on out will be focusing on the girls making plans to finish their Journey badges. Tanya Sorrells -307-297-0297

Troop Meetings:
 December: 2nd & 16th,  January 6th & 20th
Service Unit Activity:
Girl Scout Sleepover & Spa Night
December 12th @ 7pm to 13th Pickup @ 10 am.
Held at Mansface Church.
Dinner will not be provided. We ask that each girl bring a snack/munchie to share for 5 to 10 girls.  We will be providing popcorn, drinks, movies, spa experiences and breakfast.  Please bring your own sleeping bag, pad, pillow, PJ’s, and any other toiletries, needs.  We ask that you RSVP to this event to Jill by December 2nd, so that we can plan accordingly. When you drop your daughter off please plan to sign her in for permission to keep her.  If your daughter does not want to spend the whole night, that is perfectly fine!  We want to make this event as welcoming as possible, feel free to pick her up when needed.  We are looking forward to a fun event together!
We are also making this a charity event with a NON-FOOD DRIVE. The girls are in charge of how involved they personally want to be for this. We are asking the girls to bring any Donated Non-Food items to be shared with the Food Bank the night of the sleepover. This includes: diapers, wipes, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet papers, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine products, and any other daily need items that are non-perishable.  Every bit helps! Thank for all your support!

A VOTE IS NEEDED
Something to put out there… we have in the past been apart of the Light Parade in Rock Spings.  It is Saturday December 6th this year.  We do not have the resources yet to do this like we have in the past.  So, we are putting it to a vote.  How many people would like to be in the parade as a troop?  If so, we are in need of help using a truck/trailer to be in the parade. We will then have to plan decorations on our December 2nd Meeting then meet again before to actually decorate the vehicle.  We have had a lot of fun in the past & had a warm place to decorate (we no longer do), though it has not been our best turn out with the girls. Please talk to your girls, look at your schedules and give Jill a Yes or No by next Monday the 24th so that we can start planning if needed.  THANK YOU!

We want to thank everyone who helped with the Veterans Day Dinner. We had a great time, Thank You! We appreciate everyone who helped bring something, who helped serve and who used their good manners. You all did a Wonderful Job!  We look forward to this event again next year; we are honored to serve our Veterans!

Fall Fundraiser:
Our nut/candy delivery should be in ANY day.
We will not get much notice for delivery.
So please keep that in mind if your girl has orders.
We will be contacting you sometime this week to pick those up.
ALL MONEY is DUE to Jill by December 5th, 2014.
THANK YOU!!!!

Vetrans Dinner 11/10/14

Reminder we will not be having an actual troop meeting until the 18th. Since we are hosting the Vetrans Dinner. We are asking our girls to help Serve at the Vetrans Dinner on Monday the 10th at the Senior Center here in Green River.

The Cadette troop recorded the ads for the radio and you should be hearing them through the weekend. The dinner is for any vetran and their families. Please spread the word to have them join us for this free dinner from 6pm to 8pm.  Our cute daisy troops even decorated the place mats!

Cadette troop will be in charge of the flag Ceremony. For us Juniors we are in charge of Salad and Ranch dressing to go along with it. If you would like to donate Salad or Dressing that would be much appreciated. Please let us know if you would be willing to bring something.

As leaders we will be there at 4:30 prepping and ask the girls to arrive at 5:30 to 5:45pm in uniform. Please talk to your girls about etiquette if possible. We will have a quick discussion about etiquette with serving instructions before the dinner starts.

The Green River Girl Scouts are honored to host this event each year for our amazing service men and women. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!
